After the WAR ended what was left?

After the WAR's were over and many years afterwards did the affects of the Japan and Korea own my family.

My father Roendo F. Beloz U.S Army 11th and 187th Airborne Trooper never came back the man my mother married, or the father we once knew.

My father passed away on October 12th, 1994 but the memories of WAR lives within the lives of his five children that grew up witness to PTSD DESTROYED our family!

Daughter of a TROOPER!

  1. Great start, Ruby..Never stop telling your story. It will help so many others.People tend to think they are the only ones..Your story will help them know that they are not alone.PTSD takes alot of understanding.

  3. The most difficult part of trying to comprehend my father’s illness was trying to break through the many years of silence.

Decades of not talking about what he went through or what happened to him in Japan or Korea. My father suffered from recurring nightmares all of his Veteran life up until he died.

The dream was always the same his friend died in his arms after being hit with a grenade.

He tried to take the pieces of his friends burnt flesh and put it back in the hole in his stomach to stop the bleeding.

Only to witness the loss of yet another brother die. This friend was special to him they both went graduated jump school in Fort Campbell and later on got shipped out to Japan with the 11th Airborne.
